The menu of the restaurant-museum "Krasnaya Ploschad, dom 1"(Red Square, 1) consists of the unique dishes in the accordance with the ancient recipes.

The contents and structure of the menu completely correspond to the originals chosen from the records of the recipes-books of the 17th – 19th centuries that are kept in the bone-yard of the State Historical museum up to our time.

The courses consecution shows the classical order of high cuisine dinner of the of last centuries. Almost each position in the menu has not only gastronomic but historical brief comment as well.

The ancient course lists and contemporaries reports who have participated in solemn feasts were used in the process of assembling of this menu.

The most of comments to historical courses contain the direct speech of the actual participants of feasts - foreign diplomats, grandees, writers and historians.
